Ésta fue la última publicación de 'Theatre of the Mind Enterprises para La Llamada de Cthulhu (aunque se decía que estaba bastante desarrollado "The Toy Shop" e incluso se rumoreaba que había otro más, "Heka Hoy"), ya que Chaosium le retiró la licencia para seguir haciéndolo, supuestamente porque la calidad de este suplemento era muy pobre; sin embargo, esto no impidió que Bruce Ballon usase los Templarios en 2001 para Unseen Masters (Amos Ocultos en español) un suplemento que ganó varios premios, entre otros el de Origins a la mejor aventura para un juego de rol.
